Lunch with Linda Castillo: July 8 @ Noon

Join NY Times bestselling author Linda Castillo for this special Brown Bag Lunch event. Castillo will discuss her latest Amish thriller in the Kate Burkholder series, The Dead Will Tell. Although admission to this event is free, there will be a $5 charge for those who want to take advantage of the lunch provided by Bread Head Bakery. Ham, turkey, and vegetarian options are available. A book signing will follow the program.

Children’s Lock-In

For boys and girls entering Grades 3-5 in August.  We will have a fun-filled evening of games, crafts, Legos, pizza, snacks, and much, much more!  Children will need to be picked up at 11:00 PM.  Please call the library for more information.

Discover the Enchantment of Reading @ the Dover Public Library

Magic ReadingChildren ages 2-12 are invited to join our independent reading club.  Each club member commits to reading or being read to 90 minutes a week for 6 weeks.  As children complete their weeks of reading, they will be given chances to win an age appropriate basket of goodies as well as the grand prize of a new bicycle donated by the Tuscarawas Dairy Farmers Association or a new tricycle donated by the Carousel Kids Preschool.  In addition, all children finishing the 6 weeks of reading will receive a reading certificate, a new paperback book, and an invitation to our end of summer pool party to be held in August at the Dover City Pool that will be held on August 9th.  Stop in or call the library for more information.
