In honor of this year’s One Book One Community Title, Christmas Jars by Jason F. Wright, we’ll be talking about the book, enjoying snacks, and getting crafty decorating our own jars. After the event, you can take your jar home and start filling it with change. Come Christmas time, you can donate the change you have collected to a local charity or family in need. That’s what a Christmas Jar is all about. This event is open to teens in grades 6-12. No registration is necessary.

But along the way, Hope discovers much more than the origin of the jars. When some unexpected news sets off a chain reaction of kindness, Hope’s greatest Christmas Eve wish comes true.
