Haiku Writing Workshop

Do you haiku? Would you like to? Did you know that February is National Haiku Writing Month, NaHaiWriMo (The shortest month for the shortest poetic form!). During NaHaiWriMo, poets around the world write an haiku a day. Watch the library front desk for daily haiku samples. Join Julie Warther for this informative workshop on the nature of contemporary haiku. Time will be allotted for writing and each participant will leave with a few haiku of their own. Open to teens and adults. Register at the front desk or by call the library at 330-343-6123.
