The Dover Public Library is now Open! We are still offering Curbside service, but we are now asking that patrons call from the parking lot when they arrive so we may come out with their materials. Call the Library at 330-343-6123 with any questions.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Tuesday, Thursday: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
CLOSED all Saturdays and Sundays
The Curbside Pick Up phone line is 330-343-6123. If you call outside of our hours, please leave a message and a librarian will return your call.
To utilize Curbside Pick Up, you will need to bring your cellphone or schedule a specific time with the Library.
All Library borrowing policies and guidelines apply.
Returns will be taken via the Book Drops Only.
How it Works
First, you call us! Begin by selecting the library materials you would like to borrow. You can do this in whatever way is convenient for you:
- We Select
- Call 330-343-6123 and ask our friendly librarians to select materials for you. You tell us your interests and what types of materials you are looking for – books, DVDs, etc. – and we’ll surprise you with carefully selected items we think you will enjoy.
- After-hours? You can still put in your request by filling out our form.
- You Select
- You can use the online catalog and your account information to place holds on specific library materials. We will call when they are ready for pick up.
- You can also call us and ask us for specific materials
Then, we call you! When your materials are ready, we will notify you that they are ready for pick up. If you do not have text notifications enabled on your account or an email on file, we will call you.
Finally, you drive up at and we come out! Please have your mobile phone ready, then head to the library. Pull into our rear parking lot and stop in front of the Community Room Entrance. Please call us at 330-343-6123 for service. We will come out with your materials and a smile. (Behind our masks, of course!)
Returning Materials
What do you do when you’re done with the items? Simply stop by the library and place them in either the front or rear after-hours book drops. We will check the items in and make them available for the next patron.
Notes
Absolutely NO money will be transacted through Curbside Pick Up. You may NOT pay fees or fines using this service. As a courtesy, all due dates on library materials have been extended and no late fees will be charged until further notice. Fines may still be charged on items from other libraries through InterLibrary Loan.
Returns are to be placed in the Book Drops.
