A Downtown Dover History Hunt will be held on Saturday, November 1 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. This special community event is the kickoff for Dover’s Season of Good Cheer, a fun family-friendly event that was created to foster holiday joy and encourage the community to shop locally. Scavenger hunt guides can be picked up at the Dover Public Library beginning at 10:00 AM and completed guides must be turned in at the library by 4:00 PM. Participants are asked to take “selfies” at ten downtown Dover historic sites. Participants may complete the scavenger hunt individually or in teams. Those who complete the scavenger hunt are eligible to win a large Moravian Star donated by the First Moravian Church of Dover.
