At Dover Public Library

School’s out and summer’s here! That means vacation, camp, and the summer reading program at the library. This year’s Teen Summer Reading theme is “Spark a Reaction,” so we have lots of new, fun activities for teens entering grades 6-12 starting Tuesday June 24 at 2:00 PM with Silent Library, but more on that later.

We’re also having a special reading component just for teens! For every hour that you read between June 2 and August 16, you can earn a chance to win our Spark a Reaction Grand Prize: a basket of books, candy, and other surprises. Earn up to four tickets a week by reading anything you like: fanfiction, graphic novels, magazines, etc. Stop by the library to register and pick up your tracker. Bring back the tracker to receive your tickets for the Grand Prize. A special prize will also be given to those who complete the program and turn in the tracker in August. Call the library at 330-343-6123 for more information or email Teen Librarian Liz Strauss.
