Join us for a summer of fun and adventure with programs for kids, teens, and adults!
Children grades pre K through grade 5 are will follow an adventure map and complete reading challenges to earn chances to win fabulous prizes, including games, craft kits, and more. Children who complete the program can also enter to win one of the grand prizes: a telescope or a digital camera.
Teens entering grades 6-12 are invited to read to win prizes. For every one hundred minutes teens read, they can be entered to win one of five prize packages. Teens who read 600 minutes or more will receive a free book and will be entered to win the teen grand prize: a scooter and helmet. Teens can keep reading to earn more chances for their favorite prizes.
Adults are invited to complete reading and library challenges to earn their chances at prizes this summer. Adult prizes include gift cards, books, and more.

Children’s Summer Reading Rules
- Please be honest when filling out adventure maps.
- This adventure map is for children in preschool through 5th grade.
- Every stop on the map must be marked off to be returned to library.
- Any spot can be swapped for 20 minutes of reading.
- Children may fill out first map for a chance to win grand prize and receive their completion reward.
- Each additional map filled out will go into drawings for additional prizes.
- All maps must be returned by Aug 2 to be considered for the prize drawing-Prizes will be drawn Aug 3.

Teen Summer Reading Rules

- The Teen Summer Reading Program is for readers entering grades 6-12
- Fill out a ticket for every 100 Minutes you read.
- Don’t forget to put your prize choice on your ticket!
- You do not have to read the full 600 Minutes to enter to win a prize.
- You must read 600 Minutes to enter to win the Grand Prize and receive a free book.
- Teens may keep reading for more chances to win.
- You will only get 1 free book!
- All tickets must be returned by Aug 2 to be considered for the prize drawing.
- Prizes will be drawn Aug 3.
