Teen Volunteers

The library offers volunteer opportunities for teens to help them reach community service requirements for school and valuable work experience for life.

Teen volunteers should fill out a Volunteer Application form to get started. A parent or legal guardian will have to sign the waiver portion of the application before the teen can start volunteering.

Maker Lounge Volunteers

Teens have a unique opportunity at Dover Public Library to help grow the Maker Lounge. Volunteers will be trained to help patrons with their projects, use equipment, and keep the makerspace tidy and organized. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to experiment with their own projects and to use any of the materials in the Maker Lounge.

Teens interested in volunteering should contact Teen Services Manager Liz Strauss at 330-343-6123 or by email at strausel@doverlibrary.org.
