Attention book lovers! The Friends of the Library will be sponsoring a HUGE book sale the weekend of February 11th and 12th.
The Bird Man: Greg Miller and The Big Year
Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00 PM
Greg Miller, the birding expert portrayed by actor Jack Black in the movie The Big Year will present a free public lecture about his “big year” and the making of the movie, for which he served as the bird expert.

Do you haiku? Would you like to? Did you know that February is National Haiku Writing Month, NaHaiWriMo (The shortest month for the shortest poetic form!). During NaHaiWriMo, poets around the world write an haiku a day. Watch the library front desk for daily haiku samples.
